Two More Miracles...
June 3, 2007
What a glorious day to meet and greet two more beautiful mainland Chinese sister missionaries who arrived yesterday, June 2, at the Provo MTC to begin their in depth spiritual education before they embark in their various mission fields. Sister Wang and Sister Liu have now joined the prestigious ranks of Sister Zeng, Sister Dai and Sister Sun, Chinese sisters, who are currently here, also. Please see their photos below.
The Spirit has powerfully impressed me that each sister has a miraculous conversion story to tell and each was hand-picked by the Lord to find the gospel of Jesus Christ, especially prepared to accept the truth, and then to be a pioneer in their country/city to bring forth the gospel in these last days. Each sister is so humble, studious yet full of love and life. Each day when I greet them, they throw their arms around me (although each one probably weighs less than 90 lbs.), and give me the biggest hugs and loves! They make my day and our missionary service a joy!!
Sis Liu, the sister on the right in the pink sweater-vest, received a special education permit to work on her Master's degree in London, and while there, she was invited to meet the Mormon missionaries by a good friend who was studying with them. Her friend didn't join the church, but Sister Liu did three years ago and is now at the MTC headed for Australia. Interestingly, four of the five sisters have been assigned to an Australian mission. Sister Zeng, sister on the left, is headed to Toronto, Canada. We love our missionaries!!
