Ronald Reagen once said, "I didn't leave the Democratic Party; it left me!" Oh, I have experienced these same feelings as I view, in particular, the United States "going to hell in a hand basket" because of unrighteous, power-hungry, egotistical, socialistic individuals 'buying' votes and popularity with sheer deception. How I fear for the future of our country with the residue of candidates vying for the highest office in the United States! I reflect on the book of Alma in the Book of Mormon and am reminded that when the majority of our nation chooses evil over good, then the sustaining Hand of the Lord is not longer present.

President's Hinckley's death coupled with Mitt Romney's "suspending" his campaign for the Republican presidential candidate have affected our spirits and hearts. I am reminded that truth will eventually reign fully and completely. As President Hinckley has reminded us so many times, "It will all work out!" As are reminded that Heavenly Father in His ultimate wisdom is in control, so why should we doubt His purposes and Plan.
