Sister Sun, twenty-five year-old sister from Chungdu, China, after 9 weeks at the MTC is on her way to Adelaine, Autralia to preach and teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ to those who are awaiting and praying for her arrival, but "know not where to find it[the gospel]." Sister Sun was orphaned at age 14 and raised by an "auntie" who subsequently found the gospel while visiting relatives in Australia, returned to China and brought this message to Sister Sun. Only a two year member of the church, her English proficiency is only superseded by devotion and knowledge and love of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our last day together at the MTC, she confided that I am her new "mother" and that she wishes Elder Cook and myself to visit her in China upon her return to her homeland. We plan to continue our correspondence, when we have time, via email--my heart goes out to her and I'll never forget our sweet relationship.
